the highest quality of workmanship in every aspect
of the services they provide. |

Members will exercise the greatest
integrity in every aspect of the services they provide. |

Members will conduct their business
in a wholly professional manner, giving due regard
to presentation and delivery of customer service. |

Members will provide suitable documentation
(e.g. receipt, invoice, contract, etc.) relative to
the type of work and level of services being provided. |
 |
Members will be financially solvent
and should provide an appropriate guarantee of quality
and satisfaction for the goods and services they provide. |
 |
Members will respect their customers'
confidentiality and where records are kept, should
ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act of
1984. |
 |
Members should have professional
indemnity, public liability and employers liability
insurance, whenever appropriate. |
 |
Members are authorised to use The
Guild of Wedding Professionals logo, which is a trade
mark registered under the Patent Act of 1985, in addition
to their appropriate membership status logo. |
 |
In the unlikely event of a customer
complaint, the member concerned will be obliged to
co-operate fully with an arbitration panel appointed
by The Guild should this prove necessary and both
parties will agree to abide by the decision reached,
including any settlement and costs if appropriate. |

Members who fail to comply with
the high standards set out in this 'Code of Conduct'
or whose actions bring the good name of The Guild
into disrepute, will have their membership terminated. |
